Prescribed fire may occur along Lassiter Trail between now and April 1, 2018. Be aware that park staff and DFR have a plan to burn the area around Lassiter Trail when optimal conditions exsist. When optimal conditions exsist Lassiter Trail, Canoe Campgrounds, and the Backpack campground will be closed and evacuated. If the areas are occupied you will be required to evacuate. These campsites will be avaiable by walk in reservations only on Monday-Thursday from now until April 1 or until the burning is finished for the season. Friday-Sunday the CRS will take reservations as we hope to not burn on these days. Please adhere to signage and do not enter any closed areas.Posted on: Tuesday, January 30, 2018 - 9:46am
