Events and Programs

Eno River State Park offers a variety of learning opportunities for all ages. Typically led by park rangers, these interpretive programs allow the public to gain perspective into what makes North Carolina state parks naturally wonderful.

Most of the events are free, though some require pre-registration. All give park visitors deeper insight into the natural world. Call the park office for more information.

Is your pup a couch potato?  Bring your leashed dog for a stroll to Bobbit Hole.  We’ll allow plenty of time for sniffing and wading.   This is a good hiking speed and distance for toy breeds, senior dogs, and pups who like to stop and sniff. There are new State Park Bandanas available for purchase, too.  Dogs must be leashed despite wanting to answer the “Call of the Wild.”  Please make sure you bring your dogs’ vaccination records, water (for people and pets), poop bags, insect repellent for both two legged and four-legged.  We will hike as fast as the slowest pup.

*All dogs should have up-to-date vaccines. (Limit 8 leashed pets)

Park bandanas will be available for $4 plus tax.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
