Singletary Lake State Park

Singletary Lake State Park welcomes groups of 20 or more to enjoy camping, retreats and environmental education in the unique Carolina bay lakes region and within the 35,975-acre Bladen Lakes State Forest. Group campers should make reservations by contacting park staff well in advance of your visit. Two separate camps offer dormitory-style cabins, modern restrooms and mess hall. Environmental education programs and guided hikes can be arranged. Campers can embark on a learning adventure to discover the wonders of the Carolina bay ecosystem and swim in the lake’s shallow waters from a 500-foot pier. Bay Tree Lake State Natural Area is also a part of Singletary Lake State Park, and is an easy 13 mile drive north of the park.
