Guided Canoe Trip

Canoe the New River with a park ranger and learn the history of the river, and basic canoe instruction while you enjoy a leisurely trip down the river. Please wear clothing and shoes suitable for the water and be aware that the water temperature is cooler than the air. We will meet at New River State Park's Hwy 221 Access Visitor Center.  Don't forget to log your canoe trip, if you are working towards you 100 miles in the 100 -mile challenge. Space is limited and reservations are required. There is a small fee per person to cover the cost of shuttle service. Call 336.982.2587 to reserve your space.
