Fire Ecology Hike

FIRE!  Is all forest fires bad for the forest?  Does a forest fire totally destroy the forest?  Meet with a Ranger at the 221 Visitor Center to go on a short hike through a recent prescribed burn area and learn about the outcomes and what it does for the forest ecology.  Please be prepared for a hike during the warmer summer afternoon and bring a bottle of water and wear appropriate hiking attire.
