Summer Solstice Night Hike

Meet the park ranger for a 1.1-mile round-trip night hike along the ridgeline out to Luther Rock during the Summer Solstice. We will seek out amazing views, observe stars, as well as the shimmering lights from town 1,600 feet below. Bring a small flashlight and wear sturdy, closed toe shoes. Parts of this hike are considered strenuous, as Appalachian night hikes can be challenging. Children over the age of seven are welcome, but must be closely supervised. For questions or further information, please call (336) 246-9653
