Anurans! Caudata! It’s Spring!

Join NC Wildlife Resources Commission for a 5 hour Criteria II Amphibians workshop.  Learn frog calls, salamander species, habitats and research methods of our native Piedmont amphibians. This free workshop offers hands on activities, outdoor exploring and multi-disciplinary approaches for K-12 educators.

Morrow Mountain State Park features beautiful vernal pool sites for mole salamanders. The park is off the beaten path, and so worth a visit!
