2016 - 2017 funding cycle
Letters announcing the beginning of the funding cycle are sent to local governments. Electronic copies of the PARTF application can be downloaded here. Local governments may also contact their regional park and recreation consultants to receive an application. The Recreation Resources Service website includes contact information for regional consultants.
July 20, 2016 (9am - noon)
RSS and the PARTF staff conduct a workshop for local governments to explain the application process and requirements. The workshop is presented via video conference sites across the state. The workshop will also be streamed via the internet. A videotape of the workshop can be purchased for a fee. To reserve a seat, please register visiting the Recreation Resources Service (RRS) website.
Attendance is recommended, but is not required.
December 1, 2016
Applications are due by 5 pm to the applicant's regional consultant at Recreation Resources Service (RRS). Only information received by the deadline will be accepted.
February or March 2017
The Parks and Recreation Authority meet to select grant recipients.
