On Saturday, October 21st the park will be hosting the 10th annual Medoc Trail Races. Over 500 runners will be utilizing all of the hiking trails for the majority of the day so out of safety concerns we are not allowing mountain bike traffic on the trails until the event is over. The hiking trails will remain open during the event and visitors not associated with the races should park in the Visitor Center parking lot and access the hiking trails from the Bear Swamp Trail. If you have any questions please contact the park.Posted on: Sunday, October 15, 2017 - 7:28pm
There are no entrance fees to enjoy the park. In addition to park-specific rules, please read the systemwide Park Rules for all North Carolina State Parks.
