Use caution at Anglin Mill Access

Please use caution when visiting the Anglin Mill Access.  Due to recent heavy rains, part of Old Anglin Loop Road, between the Boiling Hole Rapid and the Anglin Mill Road Bridge has washed out.  Also, Old Anglin Loop Road has started to develop several ruts between Anglin Mill Road and the Anglin Mill Access.  Please drive slowly when travelling to the Anglin Mill Access.

Facilities for rent

You can reserve the following facilities at this park:

Picnic Shelter

Unreserved picnic shelters are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. However, the shelters are very popular, so reservations are strongly suggested. Reservations can be made at the park office or call 336-427-2530.

The picnic shelter at the Mayo Mountain Access accommodates up to 100 people. It has a fireplace and two large charcoal grills. Nearby amenities include accessible flush toilets, water spigot, hiking trails, fishing pond (catch-and-release; N.C. fishing license required). The shelter is handicap accessible. The fee is $108 per day.
