You can reserve the following facilities at this park:
Unreserved picnic shelters are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. However, the shelters are very popular, so reservations are strongly suggested. Reservations can be made at the park office or call 336-427-2530.
The picnic shelter at the Mayo Mountain Access accommodates up to 100 people. It has a fireplace and two large charcoal grills. Nearby amenities include accessible flush toilets, water spigot, hiking trails, fishing pond (catch-and-release; N.C. fishing license required). The shelter is handicap accessible. The fee is $95 per day.
