Hike with a Ranger
Come out and hike with a Park Ranger at Mayo River State Park's largest tract, the Hickory Creek Access. The hike will go down an old farm path from the end of Tyne Road to the Mayo River. The hike will start at the gravel cul-de-sac at the end of Tyne Road, Stoneville NC, 27048 (36.5092 N, -79.9983 W). Wear sturdy shoes, and dress appropriately for cold weather hiking. Bring your own drinking water. There are no restroom facilities at the Hickory Creek Access.
