Current status of park facilities   

The visitor center is open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily. All visitors must wear a mask or face covering while inside the visitor center.

There are NO boat rentals or concessions at this time.

The swim beach is open. There are no lifeguards on duty so you swim at your own risk. Currently there is no charge.

Hiking trails, boat ramp, and restroom facilities are open. Bike trails are open, weather permitting. 

Indoor facalities such as Community Building, Auditoriums, and Classrooms are open for reservations through the Visitor Center only. Indoor facalities are limited to 50 people per reservation/event. Social distancing, face covering, and frequent hand washing all are required for rentals of these facilities.

Outdoor facalities such as Shelters are open for reservations. Shelters are limited to 50 -100 people per reservation/event. Social distancing, face covering, and frequent hand washing all are required for rentals of these facilities.

Family campsites and group campsites are open for reservations. Visit the reservations website or call 1-877-722-6762 to make a reservation.

Please note that this alert is updated only when something changes. Generally, state parks are following the phased reopening statewide. As of March 25th, we are following Executive Order 204.

Itusi Trail

Enjoy 30.5 miles of hiking/biking adventures on the Itusi Trails. The Itusi trail is comprised of 8 loops which range from 1.0 to 9.75 miles in distance. All of these are considered easy to moderate, with the exception of Laurel Loop which is considered more moderate. Feel free to experiment with a shorter loop or test your endurance on the monster trail, either way, it will be venture to remember!
