Park Technicians are responsible for the maintenance and operation of a state park, including janitorial work and groundskeeping. These positions may also be required to assist at the concession stands and need to be able to handle money, interact with customers, and inventory supplies. These positions may also assist rangers in resource management projects, supervising volunteers, issuing receipts and permits, and closing the park during the summer, which requires working until 9:00pm.
All positions include weekend and holiday work. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
Work requires being outdoors, which includes exposure to all associated weather and environmental conditions.
The pay is $9 per hour.
