Forest Ecology Hike

Here at Lake James State Park we have quite a lot of forested land and with that comes all sorts of different communities of plants and animals. Everyone in their community ends up playing a different roll, some are specialized and others are more general. Join Ranger Townsend for a moderate hike around the Fox Den Loop trail to learn about the way all living and even the non-living parts of a forest community interact with each other.

Start Location: Catawba River Day-Use Area Office 10:00am

Date of Event:
Sunday, August 14, 2022 - 10:00am
