Other notesShower houses will be available but smaller restrooms in the campgrounds may be closed. Cleaning the shower houses will take longer than normal due to disinfecting procedures. Trash cans will not be available at the campsites, so campers will have to take their own trash to the dumpsters.

A properly worn mask or face covering, covering both the nose and the mouth, is required to enter the visitor center.

During modified Phase 3, swim beaches and facilities in their proximity will remain closed, as will the 100-person Satterwhite Point/JC Cooper group camping area.

Please note that this alert is updated only when something changes. Generally, state parks are following the phased reopening statewide. As of October 3, we are following modified Phase 3.
