Status of Kerr Lake facilities as of March 29, 2021
Campgrounds
Bullocksville – All campsites are open.
County Line – All campsites and the group camp area are open.
Henderson Point – Area 2 and the group camp area are open.
Hibernia - Area 1 sites 57-70 (walk-in only), Area 2 and the group camp area are open.
J.C. Cooper Campground at Satterwhite Point – Area 1, Area 2 and the group camp area are open.
Kimball Point – Area 2 is open.
Nutbush Bridge - Area 1 and Area 3 are open.
Day-use
All park areas have at least some of their day-use areas open. All boat ramps are open. Shelters are available for rental. Community Buildings can be rented by coming to the office in person but are currently limited to a group size of 50 people or less.
Park Office/Visitor Center
The visitor center is open (staffing dependent).
Other Notes
Cleaning the shower houses will take longer than normal due to disinfecting procedures. Trash cans will not be available at the campsites, so campers will have to take their own trash to the dumpsters.
A properly worn mask or face covering, covering both the nose and the mouth, is required inside buildings and outside when social distancing cannot be maintained.
