Quarterly Bald Eagle Count

Come be a part of our quarterly Eagle Count with New Hope Audubon Society  (www.newhopeaudubon.org). Every second Sunday of every quarter (January, April, July & October) we gather around the lake to count eagles. This is a great opportunity to enjoy Jordan Lake before the crowds and hopefully see eagles too!!  All skill levels welcome.  This is a perfect time to learn or refresh identification skills! Location will be at Ebenezer Church Recreation Area (2582 Beaver Creek Road, Apex NC 27502) near the volleyball court.  A spotting scope will be available but if you have one and binoculars, bring them.  You are welcome to come anytime or stay for the full hour and a half.   If you have any questions fill free to contact steve.mcmurray@ncparks.gov

Date of Event:
Sunday, January 12, 2020 - 7:00am to 8:30am
