Park Advisory July 4th – 7th

Beach and boat access areas are very popular, particularly on days with nice weather. Visitors should plan for traffic congestion near the park and delays when searching for available parking spaces. Once all parking spaces are full additional cars will not be allowed in the park until spaces open again and if you leave re-entry is not guaranteed. The busiest and most congested times at the park are 11am until 4pm. Do not attempt to park outside the recreation area and walk into the park. Pedestrians are not allowed to walk into the park, also please do not slow down or stop in the road or highway to speak with park staff when they are trying to direct traffic due to safety concerns.
Do not park your vehicles in undesignated areas and no parking zones as park rangers, state troopers and other law enforcement officers will be enforcing parking violations through fines and by towing
