TACO Week: Fire in the Forest

What better way to celebrate Take A Child Outside Week than to earn your Junior Ranger patch?
Stop by the trailhead of the Iron Ore Belt Access between 1-2pm to pick up a Junior Ranger booklet (for kids ages 6-12), talk with a park ranger, and learn how fire is used to maintain a healthy forest.  Average program length is 5-10 minutes, so stop by anytime!

NOTE: Under current Executive Order, social distancing is encouraged, and face masks should be worn whenever 6 feet of spacing can't be maintained.

Date of Event:
Saturday, September 26, 2020 - 1:00pm to 2:00pm

Start Location:
Iron Ore Belt Access - 6068 North Church Street, Greensboro, NC
