Snakes of the Piedmont

Have you ever wondered what kind of snakes there are in your backyard?  Do you identify every snake you see as a Copperhead?  Well then this program is for you, come join a park ranger as we discover the 20+ different species of snake that reside in the piedmont region of North Carolina.  We will discuss identifying markers, habitats, and other information in hopes that these slithery creatures become more appreciated by the visitors of North Carolina State Parks.  The program will be taking place regardless of inclement weather.  If you have any questions please call the park office at 336-342-6163.
