Moth Field ID

Did you know that North Carolina has 11-14 times as many moths as butterflies? Well we're celebrating them all, big and small, during National Moth Week (July 25-31st)!

Join Ranger Purvis at the Iron Ore Belt Access around sunset while we learn the difference between butterflies and moths, the main moth families in our area, then go hands-on with moth baiting, observation, and ID around the field. Participants will learn to do their own backyard observations, too!  Area closes at 9pm.

***Reservations Required. Program will be capped at 10 participants***
Reserve your spot by calling 336-342-6163 Ext. 503.

Date of Event:
Tuesday, July 28, 2020 - 8:00pm to 9:00pm

Start Location:
