Aquatic Ecosystem Hike

Come join a park ranger as we venture into the park and discover the different aquatic ecosystems within Haw River State Park.  While on the hike we will see wetlands, lakes, rivers and even vernal pools as well as the different plant and animal species that call them home.  The hike will be about an 1.5 miles and an easy difficulty.  Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times as we will meet at the main lodge of the Summit conference.  Please bring water, close toed shoes and weather appropriate clothing.  For any questions please call the park office at (336)342-6163.
