Crabby Crustacean Catch

THIS IS A NC SCIENCE FESTIVAL SPONSORED PROGRAM.

Come out to the park as we will explore the different species of crabs can be found on our beaches and in the surrounding waters. The ranger will have various nets available to use to help catch these pinchy crustaceans to get a closer look at some the unique features that help identify each species.  We will investigate into their natural history including their habitats, what they eat, and any threats they may have before releasing them back where we found them.
