Coding Life with DNA

THIS IS A NC SCIENCE FESTIVAL SPONSORED PROGRAM.

Do you ever wonder what makes us so unique from other living creatures?  We each have our own "secret code" that makes us each special: DNA.  It may be a "secret”, but can we see it and figure out our code?  Come out to the park and join a ranger as we explore the DNA world and editing this molecule is changing medical science.   In this activity you will discover how the world of science is helping shape new ways of looking at who we are.
