The Science Behind Water and Air

Water and air are around us all the time even when we cannot see them. Air fills every place that isn’t filled with another substance, so as you wave your hand through the air you are moving the air molecules out of the way so that your hand can take their place. Water is quite often mixed in with the air molecules in the form of clouds, fog, condensation, etc. In celebration of the North Carolina Science Festival Join Ranger Sicard anytime between 10am and 12 noon to learn a bit more about the cool things water and air can do together by using interactive activities. The activities are free and are appropriate for ages 8yrs and older.
