Black Friday Hike (Nuwati Trail)

Want an alternative to the stressful crowds of Black Friday? We have the solution: the peaceful serenity of Grandfather Mountain State Park.  Join a Ranger for a guided hike of the Nuwati Trail and learn about the cultural and natural forces that shaped the landscape that we see today. We will hike to Story Teller Rock and back covering 3 miles in two to three hours.  The trail is rocky but relatively flat creating a moderate hike.  Dress appropriately for the weather and wear hiking footwear.  For more information, contact Luke Appling at the park office 828-963-9522 or email: grandfather.mountain@ncparks.gov

Appropriate for all ages - children under 16 must be accompanied by adult. Please no pets.
