Get Hooked!
We're celebrating 2018 as The Year of the Fish!
Every year since 2010 North Carolina State Parks has celebrated an annual theme in all of our state parks. Programs, festivals and events throughout the state support this theme. The I&E council, a diverse group of staff from across the state, selects the theme each year from suggestions and nominations. Each year a unique collectible bandanna is designed and available for sale at the park web store and at each park. Educator's resources are collected on the website for park staff and educators to help support park programming.
