Boating and Paddling
Fun on the water
Some of the nation's finest waters flow through and past North Carolina's state parks - pristine rivers, stunning lakes, coastal wetlands and the Atlantic Ocean. Visitors can enjoy and explore by canoe or kayak on paddle trails or by launching from secure boat ramps and dock complexes. Inland state recreation areas and Carolina Beach State Park offer marinas, as well.
Several parks rent pedal boats, canoes or kayaks, and paddleboards to visitors.
