Falls Lake Youth Fishing Tournament

Save The Date!
Annual Falls Lake Youth Fishing Tournament
Saturday, May 19th, 2018 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Join us for a free & fun filled day at Beaverdam Day Use Area where we will be fishing, playing games, visiting with animals and winning prizes.

About the Tournament:

  • The Tournament is geared towards creating and encouraging new fishermen and fisherwomen ages 5-13
  • The event is FREE!
  • Loaner rods & reels for kids to borrow who do not have their own (limited supply)
  • Three age classes:   Ages 5-7 "Egg Class"     Ages 8-10 "Larva Class"      Ages 11-13 "Fry Class"
  • Prizes awarded for Longest Fish, Shortest Fish, Heaviest Fish, and Most Fish Caught by Weight in each age Class
  • Worms provided (while supplies last)
  • All participants have a chance to win a door prize
  • See wildlife up close
  • Play environmental games
