Seasonal – Park Technician

These positions are 40 hours per week and are currently for a 6-month period.
The wage is $12 per hour.
Duties include working with park staff collecting litter and cleaning bathrooms and facilities, trail and campsite maintenance, grounds maintenance projects (including the use of lawnmowers and weed eaters), and assisting with repair projects throughout the park. Park Technicians will also assist park staff with interpretive education programs and various natural resource management projects.
The right candidate for this position should have a can-do attitude, be willing to learn, and must be able to interact with the general public in a positive manner. Most of the work completed in this position is performed outdoors and in all weather conditions. Applicants must be able to work outside in hot weather for extended periods of time. For a motivated candidate, this can be an excellent opportunity to learn many new skills.
Working nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
