Winter Solstice Night Hike

Experience the Swamp after dark! Take a guided hike along Bull Boulevard with the ranger to see what comes out when the sun goes down. The winter solstice is the shortest day of the year, and it's also the peak night for the Ursid meteor shower. Dress in warm layers. You can bring a flashlight- red lights are best, but we will have a few red balloons available to convert your white light. Children are welcome, but please be prepared for a very dark night--there will be almost no moon!

*You must pre-register for this hike by calling the office to sign up!*
