Get Outside !!!

Get Outside at Crowders Mountain State Park. REI will team up with our trail volunteers and Friends of Crowders Mountain, Inc to promote stewardship and volunteering throughout the North Carolina Park System. You will also be able to pan for gold, learn how to build a fire, get some great pet tips and see some adoptable pets, get hiking stick carving ideas, outdoor cooking, find great outdoor opportunities in the area and eat some BBQ, funnel cake or ice cream.

The gates at Linwood Road, Boulders and Sparrow Springs access (including all trails, picnic areas and the lake) close at the listed times below.

​There is a 1-mile hike to the campground from the parking lot. Please plan accordingly.
