Orienteering 101 (How to Use a Compass)

Whether you're a boy scout, girl scout, or an outdoor enthusiast, map and compass reading can be a trying task...but it doesn't have to be. This is a beginners course that will teach you the basics of using a map and compass with plenty of practical activities. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED so we can be sure we are properly social distancing. Call the park office, 919-778-6234, to sign up.
