IMPORTANT: Not all campsites have identical amenities. Read the campsite information on the reservations website to preview photos of campsites; check availability and fees; and find out whether a specific site is handicap accessible; has access to water, showers, or restrooms; has electric hookup; and other important information.

Group Cabins can be reserved by calling the park office.

Carolina Beach State Park  

Family Camping Cabins (pictured in first image above)

These camping cabins sleep six (6) in two rooms with a double bed and two sets of bunkbeds. Each cabin has electrical receptacles and a heating and air-conditioning unit. Outside cabin amenities include a picnic table, charcoal grill and a fire ring. Drinking water and restrooms with hot showers are located nearby. The park also has four (4) camper cabins located in the family campground. 

No pets and no smoking is allowed in any of the cabins. Centennial Cabin is ADA accessible. Service animals are allowed in this cabin with documentation of their service. Park gate is locked daily at posted closing hours. Vehicle access after gate closing or before 7 am is restricted, except in an emergency.

Hanging Rock State Park

Rustic Family Camping Cabins (pictured in second and third image above)
These cabins have two bedrooms with two single beds, living room has couch/futon with sleeper pull-out, kitchen with dining space and with central heating and air-conditioning. Each cabin accomodates up to six people. Pets and smoking are not permitted in the cabins. All of the cabins are available year-round. Cabins 1-9 are ADA accessible. Parking is allowed for two vehicles per cabin only.

Morrow Mountain State Park

Mount Morrow State Park CabinSix rustic family vacation cabins offer the opportunity to get away from it all. Located in a wooded section of the park, each cabin has a bathroom, living room, fireplace, kitchen with dining space and two bedrooms. The fully-equipped cabins accommodate up to six people each. One cabin is fully accessible. There is a two night minimum for cabin rental. Pets are not allowed in the cabins or cabin area.

Singletary Lake State Park

Two Organized Group Camps (available to nonprofit organizations)

Both camps are accessible for persons with disabilities and include a mess hall, campers' cabins and restrooms. All amenities are provided for campers except for food, cleaning supplies and bed linens. A basketball goal, volleyball net, horseshoe pit, group-size charcoal grill and picnic tables are located near the cabins. A campfire circle in each camp offers the perfect setting for an evening of fellowship and marshmallow roasting.

Use of the group camps is by reservation only. Reservations are accepted after January 1 of each year for the spring, summer and fall. Reservations for Camp Loblolly Bay for use during the months of January and February may be made after September 1 of the previous year. William B. Umstead State Park

Two Organized Group Camps (available to nonprofit organizations)

Two group camps—Camp Crabtree and Camp Lapihio—are available to organizations and nonprofit groups. Each camp includes a mess hall, dining area, and washhouses. Located in the heart of the woodlands, each camp offers ample opportunity to explore the wonders of nature. 

Group camps are open April through October and may be rented daily in spring and fall or weekly during the summer. Accommodating between 27 and 120 people, an entire camp may be rented or a unit of cabins may be rented. Fees vary accordingly. A minimum of 10 people is required to rent a group camp or unit. Reservations for the group camps must be made by calling or coming into the park office. 919-571-4170
