Join a park ranger for a guided tree ID walk along Profile Trail at Grandfather Mountain State Park. Grandfather Mountain is home to a unique variety of tree species- learn how to ID them based on leaves, buds, and bark! All hikes will be slow paced on natural surface trails, cover between 1-1.5 miles, and last two hours. Please wear sturdy hiking boots and dress according to weather. This event is weather permitting. All ages welcome, participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No pets, please.
