Take an informal tour of the constellations with MPSC educators: telescopic views of beautiful objects, including planets, nebulae, star clusters and, of course, the Moon when available. Location: Ebenezer Beach, gates will remain open till the end of the activity. Please check the weather on day of event if cloudy the event will be cancelled. Monthly sky watching sessions are free and open to the public! Check the "News" listing at the home page of www.moreheadplanetarium.org or call Guest Relations at (919) 962-1236 on the day of the sky watching session to be sure weather conditions will permit us to host this outdoor activity. The event is hosted by the staff from Morehead Planetarium.

Jordan Lake gates are closed and locked at park closing time. There is no entry or exit after park closing time.
Jordan Lake's day use area and campground gates open and lock promptly at posted times. No entry or exit is permitted before or after posted gate hours except for law enforcement or medical emergencies.
