Hammocks Beach State Park operates a ferry service to Bear Island. Carts and wagons are prohibited on passenger ferries due to space and weight limitations. Passenger conveyance devices, such as strollers and wheelchairs, are allowed. Pets are not allowed on the ferry or in the swimming area.
