Fishing: Special Catch and Release

Facility Description(s)
  • Facility: Bullhead Stream fishing. Strictly catch and release. Requires a fly-rod and reel, barbless hooks, and fishing net.
  • Location: Bullhead and Rich Mountain Creeks.
  • Accommodates: One person per half-mile section.
  • Nearby Amenities: None.
  • Available: Year round from 8:30 a.m. until one hour before park closing.
  • Reservations Required: Self-registration for daily permit. Must be purchased at the Bullhead Creek parking area the day of fishing.
  • Accessible: None.

Picnic Shelters

  • Facility: 2 eight-table picnic shelter. Each has picnic tables, a grill, and fireplace. Dogwood location has electric, Chestnut location does not.
