South Mountains State Park »  Maps and Directions
Attention Equestrians and long distance hikers...Fox Trail Renovations in progress:
... details ±The Fox Trail is currently undergoing a significant facelift. Due to safety concerns with being in a construction area, and the fact that the old sections of trail have already begun to be closed off, the trail will be closed from the Jacob Trail intersection to the Raven Rock Trail intersection until the renovations are complete. Thank you for you patience as we try to improve our trail system.

Beware of incorrect driving directions from GPS units and internet searches
... details ± If you put the South Mountains State Park address into some GPS units, or look it up on an internet website, please be aware that some of the driving directions to the park are incorrect and will take you to an undeveloped portion of the park an hour away from the Jacob Fork Access. Park staff are trying to get these directions corrected. If your directions send you to Roper Hollow Rd., or the Silver Creek development, they are incorrect. The proper directions will have you end up on South Mountain Park Ave. via Ward's Gap Rd.
