Lake Level is 10.50 about 1.8 feet of water in the ramp area. Larger boats will have some difficulty launching/loading.
Canoe Artifacts have been moved to East Carolina University for restoration and are temporarily off exhibit. Please contact the park office at 252-797-4475 for more information.
The main park area, campground, boat ramp, Cypress Point and Pocosin Natural Area are open. Group camping and all trails remain closed due to unsafe conditions.

Drive-to / Walk-in Camping (no electrical / no water hookups):

Picnic table and grill on campsite --- $20/day
Senior citizen (62 or older) --- $15/day
  Dec. 1 to March 15---$13 / night (washhouse is closed)
Primitive Group Camping
Unimproved campsites with pit privies (composting or vault toilets, etc.) --- Per day $13 minimum. $2 additional per day for every person over the minimum number of campers.
Shelters
(Available by reservation. Available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis, if not
reserved.)
1 - 2 Tables --- $33/day
5 - 8 Tables --- $73/day
A $25 fee will be charged for all returned checks.
