ongoing trail construction project ... details ±

On February 6th there will be a trail construction project going on at Occoneechee Mountain State Natural Area. All facilities will continue to be open and available to the public, but vehicles and construction equipment may be traveling along parts of the 0.6 mile long Summit Trail and working on approximately 0.6 miles of proposed trail in the backcountry areas of the park. This work will continue until it is completed. All other trails in the area should remain unaffected. Please check back to this website for future updates and alerts.
