Due to recent heavy rains the water levels on the New River near the New River State Park are deemed unsafe at this time. The high waters have not closed our campgrounds, however we are advising everyone (for their own safety) to avoid being in the river until the waters have receded. for non-campers --- $15 (Note: some parks do not allow non-campers to use dump station facilities.

Forms of Payment: Cash, checks, travelers checks. At this time, only Carolina Beach, Mount Mitchell
and Morrow Mountain State Parks accept Visa or Mastercard.
A $25 fee will be charged for all returned checks.
