Mayo River State Park  »  Welcome!

The Mayo River State Park's interim facility, Mayo Mountain Access, opened to the public on April 1, 2010. Located at the site are a visitor contact station, picnic shelter, .5 mile hiking trail currently open and an additional 1.8 mile hiking trail planned, rest rooms, catch and release fishing in the pond, and maintenance a facility.

Total acreage for the entire park is presently 1,967 acres.

Park staff is available to provide outreach environmental education programs and will be hosting volunteer workdays. Please check the park event database for opportunities to volunteer.
