Camping
Facility Description(s)
Facility: 22 Primitive campsites. Each site has a table, fire ring with grill, lantern holder, trash
can and fire circle.
Location: Eight sites are at the Princess Ann Access and 14 are at Chalk Banks.
Accommodates: Up to 6 people per site.
Nearby Amenities: Restrooms and drinking water are within walking disance.
Available: Year-round.
Reservations Required: Reservations are strongly advised. Any unreserved sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking permits (free) are also required at Princess Anne.
Accessible: Site #1 at Princess Anne and Site #3 at Chalk Banks are designated accessible. All campsites at Chalk Banks are accessible with slight difficulty
Facility: Primitive group campsites. Each site includes two tables ( four tables at Chalk Banks), fire ring with grill, lantern holder and
trash can.
Location: Princess Anne and Chalk Banks
Accommodates: Princess Anne - up to 20 people. Chalk Banks - up to 35 people.
Nearby Amenities: Drinking water, restrooms ( Princess Anne only ) and pit toilets are nearby.

Facility: Primitive canoe-in camsites. Each site includes picnic table(s), fire ring with grill, lantern holder and
trash can.
Location: Along length of river- Chalk Banks, Jasper Memory, John Culbreth, Tom Avent, Buck Landing, Piney Island, Pea Ridge, and Princess Anne. Refer to park map for locations along the river.
Accommodates: Up to 15 at Jasper Memory, Tom Avent, and Pea Ridge. Up to 20 at Chalk Banks, and Princess Anne Group site. Up to 30 at John Culbreth and Buck Landing. Up to 40 at Piney Island. Up to 150 at Princess Anne Overflow Campsite.
Nearby Amenities: Drinking water at Chalk Banks and Princess Anne.

Primitive / Backpack Camping
Unimproved campsites with/without pit privies (composting or vault toilets, etc.) --- $13/day
Primitive Group Camping
Unimproved campsites with pit privies (composting or vault toilets, etc.) --- Per day $13 minimum. $2 additional per day for every person over the minimum number of campers.
Primitive Canoe-in Camping
Unimproved campsites with pit privies (composting or vault toilets, etc.) --- $13/day
Shelters
Facility Description(s)
Facility: One 12-table picnic shelter.
Location: Princess Anne Access Area
Accommodates: Accommodates up to 100 people.
Nearby Amenities: Water, Restrooms, Horseshoe Pit, Boat Ramp, Canoe/Kayak Landing, Trails, Playfield, Fishing/Observation Deck.
