Hanging Rock Lake will be closed weekdays after August 18 for swimming and boating. Swimming and boating will be open Saturdays, Sundays, and Labor Day until closing for the season September 7. Bank fishing is available daily, year-round.

Camping

* December 1 to March 15 while washhouses are closed camping fee is $13/day.
Primitive Group Camping
Unimproved campsites with pit privies (composting or vault toilets, etc.) --- Per day $13 minimum. $2 additional per day for every person over the minimum number of campers.
