Week I - Haw River Junior Ranger Camp - June 14th - 18th

Rising 2nd - 7th graders $90/wk
Be a part of Haw River State Park's first class of Junior Rangers. The program will include wildlife monitoring with radio telemetry equipment, special Ranger programs, nature games and activities. Campers will work side by side with our Ranger on a park improvement project to fulfill the stewardship component of the program. Other daily activities will include water activities, art focus and reflection time (rest break).

Week II - Archeology Quest - June 21st - 25th

Rising 2nd - 6th graders $90/wk
Come to camp and dig into archeology. Campers will experience a variety of archeological techniques and tools, while investigating the history of this area. Campers will learn how to excavate and interpret an archeological site, to interpret and create their own cave art. All activities will include hands-on and active learning. Other daily activities will include water activities, art focus and reflection time (rest break).

Week III - Grand Camp - August 9th - 11th

$110/participant
This two-night, three day camp will be for rising 2nd Ð 6th graders and their special grandparent(s). Some of the special activities include fun games for all ages, family projects, easy to moderate hiking, fishing, canoeing and nightly campfire fun! Daily activities will include pool time, art focus and restful free-time. This camp will be a perfect opportunity to have a blast at camp, while sharing time with special family members. All moderately strenuous activities will have an alternative program option. There will be a variety of overnight accommodation options (motel style/cabin).
