Directions

The Haw River Program is located at the Summit Retreat and Conference Center at Haw River State Park.

From Greensboro:

Take US 29 North to the Brown Summit exit (Hwy 150). Turn left, go through Brown Summit where Hwy 150 veers right and crosses railroad tracks. Continue on Hwy 150 to Spearman Rd. (about 3 miles past the railroad tracks). Fire Station #33 is on the corner.Turn right on Spearman, go 1.4 miles and turn left on Conference Center Drive. We are at the Round building towards the end of the drive. Follow the signs for Education Facilities.

From Reidsville:

Take US 29 South to the Brown Summit exit (Hwy 150). Turn Right, go through Brown Summit where Hwy 150 veers right and crosses railroad tracks. Continue on Hwy 150 to Spearman Rd. (about 3 miles past the railroad tracks). Fire Station #33 is on the corner. Turn right on Spearman, go 1.4 miles and turn left on Conference Center Drive. We are at the Lodge towards the end of the drive. OR take Hwy 158 West to Monroeton. Turn left at Cunningham Mill Rd. (flashing yellow light) Go about 2 miles to Spearman Rd. Turn Right and The Summit entrance is about 2 miles on the right. We are at the Round building towards the end of the drive. Follow the signs for Education Facilities.

From Winston-Salem:

Take Hwy 158 East towards Reidsville for 34 miles to a flashing yellow light at Cunningham Mill Rd. (Monroeton Golf Course is just past the intersection) Turn right and go about 2 miles to Spearman Rd. Turn Right and The Summit entrance is about 2 miles on the right. We are at the Lodge towards the end of the drive. OR take I-40 east through Greensboro to US 29 North (exit #127). take US 29 North to the Brown Summit exit (Hwy 150). Turn left, go through Brown Summit where Hwy 150 veers right and crosses railroad tracks. Continue on Hwy 150 to Spearman Rd. (about 3 miles past the railroad tracks). Fire Station #33 is on the corner. Turn right on Spearman, go 1.4 miles and turn left on Conference Center Drive. We are at the Round building towards the end of the drive. Follow the signs for Education Facilities.

From Charlotte:

Take I-85 North to Greensboro. It joins with I-40 and becomes business I-85. Follow signs closely to 29 North. Take US 29 North to the Brown Summit exit (Hwy 150). Turn left, go through Brown Summit where Hwy 150 veers right and crosses railroad tracks. Continue on Hwy 150 to Spearman Rd. (about 3 miles past the railroad tracks). Fire Station #33 is on the corner. Turn right on Spearman, go 1.4 miles and turn left on Conference Center Drive. We are at the Round building towards the end of the drive. From Raleigh / Durham:

Take I-40 West/I-85 South to exit #132 (Mt. Hope Church Rd.) go north for about 12 miles (road becomes McLeansville Rd.) to Hwy 150.Turn left, go through Brown Summit where Hwy 150 veers right and crosses railroad tracks. Continue on Hwy 150 to Spearman Rd. (about 3 miles past the railroad tracks). Fire Station #33 is on the corner. Turn right on Spearman, go 1.4 miles and turn left on Conference Center Drive. We are at the Round building towards the end of the drive. Follow the signs for Education Facilities.

From the Piedmont Triad Airport:

International Airport take Bryan Blvd. towards Greensboro. Go about 4 miles to the New Garden Rd. exit. Turn left and go 4.5 miles to Battleground Ave. (US 220). Turn left and go about 6 miles to Hwy 150. Turn right and go about 9 miles to Spearman Rd. Fire Station #33 is on the corner. Turn left on Spearman, go 1.4 miles and turn left on Conference Center Drive. We are at the Round building towards the end of the drive. Follow the signs for Education Facilities.
