Several parks will be closed due to Hurricane Hanna
... details ±All Parks along I-95 and east will close at noon on Friday, 9/5. Fort Macon, Lake Waccamaw, Jordan Lake, Jones Lake and Raven Rock will reopen at 2 p.m. on Saturday, 9/6. Carolina Beach and Fort Fisher are scheduled to reopen at 8 a.m. Sunday, 9/7.
Indoor showers facilities located on Bear Island for campers are CLOSED until further notice. Drinking water, restrooms and outdoor showers remain open.
