State parks and state recreation areas that do not currently have campsites or other facilities that can be reserved include Carvers Creek, Chimney Rock, Fort Macon, and Occoneechee Mountain.
Grandfather Mountain has several campsites but only one can be reserved. All other sites are walk-in only.
Many state parks have campsites, auditoriums, classrooms, picnic shelters, etc. that may be reserved only by contacting the park directly. You'll find contact information for each park by navigating to the park's 'home' page by using the drop-down menu box to the left.
