Marina Closed Due to Renovations / Change in Camping Registration Process

Change in Camping Registration Process: During the time the marina is closed, campers must register for campsites at the visitor center office.

Serious plant pests can be introduced into our parks by campers who bring in firewood. To prevent this, many of our parks sell firewood. For campers who choose to bring in their own firewood, please use wood harvested from a source local to the park. Campers should not bring firewood from outside of North Carolina.

Prescribed Burns Planned February through April: The park plans to burn approximately 100 acres during the months of February - April. These burns will be conducted on weekdays only and when weather conditions allow. Visitor use areas such as trails and camping areas could be temporarily affected.
